         When "The Catalyst" was released, everyone expected it to be a new version of Linkin Park. As Mike Shinoda had earlier this album would  be quite different, but surely not surprise us .. a lot.We hardly heard her voice perfectly Chester Bennington. Wonder what happened? Even the changes of LP, will continue to be THE BAND;) (There's a love song), p 
          The CD was released on September 14, 2010 as progammed, but anyway .. I think they left all their fan happy

Linkin Park is an album by American nu metal. Was formed in 1996 in Los Angeles, California.

The band started with Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson, who met at school, and became friends, and both expressed the desire to form a band. Then, in 1996, began recording the band's first material that was called Xero, a time later joined the band: Joe Hahn, who studied with Mike at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design, along with David "Phoenix" Farrell, who was the roommate of Brad at UCLA, Rob Bourdon, who studied with Mike and Brad in high school, and Mark Wakefield, a colleague of Mike. So was the formation of Xero: Mike Shinoda (vocals) Mark Wakefield (vocals), Joe Hahn (DJ), Phoenix (bass), Brad Delson (guitar) and Rob Bourdon (drums).

      At first it was just fun, but began to call attention to a limited audience. Except that the record companies did not pay much attention to them, then resolveramque should continue to do some movings. Mark, for personal reasons, had to leave the band, but still a great friend of the band. At that time, Chester Bennington was in Arizona, where he was born, and sang in a band called Grey Daze, they hired a lawyer in Los Angeles to represent it in front of various stamps.
And this lawyer knew that Xero was looking for a vocalist, and sent a demo tape to Chester.Era March 20, 1999. The next day he received a package, some of the recordings with vocals and other instruments. In three days he has recorded and rerecorded, and then called the members of Xero, who heard the first recordings by members of Xero tel. ordered him to go to Los Angeles immediately. Chester traveled the next day. The band was surprised by the power of the voice of Chester Bennington.
         After he joined the band, they changed their name to Hybrid Theory, but had to change again by legal problems. These problems, which were by the fact there is already a band with that name. The final name, Linkin Park, is an adaptation of Lincoln Park, which is a neighborhood where the homeless used to go. The change in spelling is because the Internet domain lincolnpark.comjá existed and was very expensive. Focused on creating demos to send to record labels. Warner Music signed them soon after.
